They affirm that since <U>He did not rise physically, neither will He return physically</U>.</div> <div> <I>The Truth Shall Make You Free</I>, 295.   (This doctrine was created as an attempt to hide a <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000099" FACE="Arial" ><A HREF="id173.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Watchtower False Prophecies"><U>failed prophecy</U></A></FONT> of early J.W.'s)</div> <bR> <div> <A HREF="id145.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Videos on J.W.s"><U>Video</U></A>   <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > This video will cover the complete details of this doctrine.</FONT></div> <bR> <div> Although the Watchtower claims that Jesus did NOT rise from the dead in a physical body, and that He has returned to earth in 1914 in a spirit body, the scriptures, contrary to Watchtower doctrine, declares that Jesus rose from the dead in his physical body, ascend into heaven with the same body, and will return in like manner, in a body of Flesh and every eye on earth will see Him at that return!</div> <bR> <div> The scripture, in 2 John 1:7 makes an astounding declaration, that those who would teach the doctrine of a "spiritual" return of Christ, without his physical body, are a deceiver and an antichrist. Before covering 2 John 1:7, I shall first show the scriptures that prove Jesus did arise and ascend into heaven, in the FLESH!</div> <bR> <div> The record shows that, it was his fleshly body, the same body, that was crucified on the cross, that Jesus was raised in! This flesh, scripture declares, would not "see corruption." His flesh, which Christ would be resurrected, did not decay!</div> <bR> <div> Acts 2:30-32      <I>Therefore </I>(David) <I>being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, </I><I><B>according to the flesh</B></I><I>, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; [31] He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, </I><I><B><U>neither his flesh did see corruption</U></B></I><I>. [32] This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. </I></div> <bR> <div> When Jesus appeared to the disciples after he resurrected, he proved to them that he was in a body of Flesh!</div> <bR> <div> Luke 24:39      <I>Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; </I><I><B><U>for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. </U></B></I></div> <bR> <div> In the same body of flesh, Jesus ascended into heaven and shall return in the same flesh by which every eye on earth will see him!</div> <bR> <div> Acts 1:9-11     <I>And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. [10] And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; [11] Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, </I><I><B><U>shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven</U></B></I><I>. </I></div> <bR> <div> Rev. 1:7     <I>Behold, he cometh with clouds; and </I><I><B><U>every eye shall see him</U></B></I><I>, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen</I>. </div> <bR> <bR> <div> The Biblical record shows these facts:</div> <bR> <div> 1.  The fleshly body of Jesus is to reign upon the throne of David which will occur at the return of Christ! (Acts 2:30)</div> <bR> <div> 2.  The fleshly body of Christ Jesus did NOT see corruption!  (Acts 2:32)</div> <bR> <div> 3.  After his resurrection, Jesus appeared to the disciples in a <I><B><U>flesh and bones</U></B></I> body as Jesus himself testifies that he is NOT a Spirit!  (Luke 24:39) He then ate food with them!</div> <bR> <div> 4.  The Disciples watched the same <I><B><U>flesh and bones</U></B></I> body of Jesus ascend into heaven and the angels declare that Jesus will return in <I>like manner!</I>    (Acts 1:9-11)</div> <bR> <div> 5. When Jesus returns, every human being on earth will <B><U>see</U></B> him! (Rev. 1:7, Matt. 24:30) </div> <bR> <div> 6.  Not a single scripture declares that Jesus left his fleshly body on earth and took the form of a Spirit being! The ONLY thing he left behind, is his <B>Blood</B> that purchased us! This why Jesus used the term "<B>flesh and </B><B><U>bones</U></B>" instead of "<B>flesh and blood</B>!"</div> <bR> <div> 7.  The disciple John testifies (in the following study) that anyone who declares that Jesus will <U>not</U> return in the FLESH, is a deceiver and an anti-christ!</div> <bR> <div>  </div> <bR> <div> 2 John 7</div> <div> <I>For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as </I><I><B><U>coming</U></B></I><I> in the FLESH. </I><I><B><U>This is a deceiver and an antichrist.</U></B></I></div> <bR> <bR> <bR> <div> I will mention again, the Watchtower claims that Christ has returned to the temple in 1914 and cleansed it by 1918 for judgment upon sinful men and Satan's organizations. I suspect they think their Watchtower building in New York is "the temple!" They affirm that since <U>He did not rise physically, neither will He return physically</U>.</div> <div> <I>The Truth Shall Make You Free</I>, 295.</div> <bR> <div> <A HREF="id246.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="E.G. White on Michael the Archangel"><U>E.G. White</U></A><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > of the Seventh Day Adventists church, of whom the Watchtower can give credit for the adoption this heresy, claimed that Jesus rose in the flesh, but dropped off his body when he ascended into heaven!</FONT></div> <bR> <div> Below, you will find several research sources which clearly identify that the scripture in 2 John verse 7 testifies of the <B>2nd coming of Jesus Christ</B>, and that He will <B>COME IN THE FLESH</B>! </div> <bR> <div> The following is taken from  “The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge” edited by Jerome H. Smith. THOMAS NELSON PUBLISHERS. You might take notice of the comment of B.F. Westcott, the authority of the "Wescott and Hort Greek New Testament" the Watchtower uses for their N.W. translation!</div> <bR> <div> <B>2 John 1:7</B> </div> <div> many Deceivers entered or, gone forth who is come lit. is coming. John affirms <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FF0033" FACE="Arial" ><B>J</B><B><U>esus Christ at his Second Advent “is coming in the flesh</U></B>”: i.e., <B><U>in his human nature</U></B>, the same Jesus, <U>in like manner as he went into heaven</U>.</FONT> See related notes (Mt 16:27n. 1 J 4:2n). Peters affirms the validity of applying <U>this text to the Second Advent, not the first</U>, citing Alford and other scholars (Theocratic Kingdom, vol. 1, p. 570; vol. 2, p. 347, 698. vol. 3, p. 49). Westcott</B> states “The thought centers upon the present perfection of the Lord's manhood which is still, and is to be manifested, and <U>not upon the past fact of His coming,</U> 1 J 4:2” (The Epistles of St. John, p. 229). Scripture affirms He is coming to the earth (Zc 14:4. Re +*5:10n), to reign upon the earth (not merely over it from heaven) from Jerusalem (Is m24:23. Mi +*4:7). Christ will be personally present (Ps 102:16. Is +*24:23. Mi +*4:7. Ac +*3:20, 21)<U> </U><B><U>in his humanity</U></B><B> </B>(Mt 16:27n)<B> </B><B><U>to rule forever</U></B><U> </U>(Lk +*1:32, 33) over his kingdom, his inheritance, which is upon earth (Mt +*5:5. 6:10. Ro 4:13. Ep +*1:11n. 2 Ti +*4:18n. He 11:16n. 1 P 1:4n). The throne of David, which Christ inherits (Lk 1:32), is upon earth (Am +m9:11. Zc 1:16, 17. 2:12. The verb is in the <B><U>present participle</U></B>, <I><B><U>coming</U></B></I><B><U>,</U></B> which describes the manhood of Christ as <I><B><U>still</U></B></I><B><U> </U></B><I><B><U>being</U></B></I><B><U> </U></B><I><B><U>manifested</U></B></I>.</FONT> See on <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#008000" FACE="Arial" ><U>1Jo_3:5</U></FONT>. In <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#008000" FACE="Arial" ><U>1Jo_4:2</U></FONT> we have the manifestation treated as a past fact by the perfect tense, <I>has</I> <I>come</I>. Rev., <I>that</I> <I>Jesus</I> <I>Christ</I> <I>cometh</I>. So in <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#008000" FACE="Arial" ><U>1Th_1:10</U></FONT>, <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#0000FF" FACE="TITUS Cyberbit Basic" > </FONT>is <I>the</I> <I>wrath</I> <I>which</I> <I>is</I> <I>coming</I>; which has already begun its movement and is advancing: not merely, as A.V., <I>the</I> <I>wrath</I> <I>to</I> <I>come</I>, which makes it wholly a future event. Jesus . . . in the flesh</B>--the token of Antichrist. </div> <div> <B>is come</B>--Greek, "<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Arial" >coming</FONT>." He who denies Christ's <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Arial" >coming in the flesh</FONT>, denies the possibility of the incarnation; he who denies that he has come, denies its actuality. <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Arial" >They denied the possibility of a Messiah's appearing, or coming, in the flesh</FONT> [NEANDER]. I think the Greek <B><U>present participle</U></B> implies both the first <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Arial" ><B>and the second advent of Christ</B></FONT>. He is often elsewhere called the Coming One (Greek), <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#008000" FACE="Arial" ><U>Mat_11:3</U></FONT>; <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#008000" FACE="Arial" ><U>Heb_10:37</U></FONT>. <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Arial" >The denial of the reality of His manifestation in the flesh, at His first coming, <B><U>and of His personal advent again</U></B>, constitutes Antichrist</FONT>.
