An enemy of Christians and Jews, the Quran (Koran) of Islam is a corrupted false distortion of the Word of God. The Quran preaches a different gospel than that which was preached by the apostles! The intent of this study is not to offend the Muslim reader. It is intended to expose the truth so that the reader will know what they must do to obey God's word. Jehovah God, became man and every person is commanded to bow their knee to the name of Jesus, and confess that He is Lord and God!
The attitude you should have is the one that Christ Jesus had: He always had the nature of God, but he did not think that by force he should try to remain equal with God. Instead of this, of his own free will he gave up all he had, and took the nature of a servant. He became like a human being and appeared in human likeness. He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death--- his death on the cross. For this reason God raised him to the highest place above and gave him the name that is greater than any other name. And so, in honor of the name of Jesus all beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will fall on their knees, and all will openly proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Islam intends to rule the world as a governmental power by killing all who refuse to submit to the foreign god called "Allah," invented by the evil mind of Muhammad. Muhammad not only rejected the God of Abraham, he also became an enemy of the God of Abraham who was known as Jehovah, not Allah! Islam, I believe, is the dragon whom has been prophetically revealed in the book of Revelation Chapter 12, who persecutes the people of God (the Jews - the woman, and the Christians - her offspring).

2Co 13:1In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
Although the "good book" (the term used in the Koran to speak of the Bible) tells us to look for two or three witnesses, the number of witnesses to the Koran, are ONE! Muhammad alone, claims to have received the Koran, as he declared the pagan god called "Allah" to be the only God. In so doing, he rejected the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, known by the ancients as "Jehovah" and was revealed in the flesh as Jesus Christ! Muhammad is alone! NO one has ever seen, nor had an encounter with this foreign deity which was worshipped by the ancestors of Muhammad.
However, the number of witnesses who saw, and had a living encounter with Jehovah God and testified of their encounters in the scriptures of the Holy Bible, is numerous. From Abraham, to Moses, King David, Isaiah, Ezekiel, the list continues ... all of whom are authors of scripture included in the 66 books of the Bible. The Holy Bible was written by over 40 different people, over a period of 1,500 years. Yet they ALL testify to the same God known as Jehovah who was prophetically fortold to be the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Not one of these prophets ever made mention of the pagan deity called "Allah."
Therefore, while the Holy Bible stands on the testimony of 40 men over 1.5 thousand years, the Koran stands on the Sole testimony of ONE man, Muhammad!
Nearly 1 billion people today, have placed their souls into the trust of a foreign God who had only ONE witness ... Muhammad and rejected the witness of the 40 prophets of both the Jewish and Christian scriptures covering 1,500 years of history!
Let's take a deeper look at this ONE, sole witness, who is proved by the Jewish and Christian Holy Scriptures to be a "false witness" and a "false prophet!" This study may offend the Muslim reader! Footnotes at the bottom of the page shows the literature I used for this study!

MUHAMMAD - early years
"Muhammad was an Arab born in the city of Mecca in a.d. 570 (died a.d. 632). He claimed that he was the prophet to restore true religion and the praise of Allah throughout the world, just as Jesus Christ was a prophet in His time for His people. Muhammad means “the one who is praised.”
Muhammad was born in Mecca, near the Middle Western coastal region of Arabia, between 570 and 580, to Abdullah (or Abd Allah), who died two months after he was born, and Aminah, who died when he was six. Mecca was a large commercial city known for the Ka`aba (“cube”), a building famous for its 360 idols containing images of the moon god Hubal, al-Lat, al-'Uzza and Manat, and the Black Stone." (1)
The Black stone was an idol of worship in pre-Islam time and is still worshipped by the Muslims and is described as follows:
"The annual pilgrimage to the Kaaba takes place in the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijja, the last lunar month of the Islamic calendar. The BLACK STONE set on the outside of one corner of the structure is solemnly kissed by all the pilgrims who can gain access to it. Lesser pilgrimages are performed throughout the year." (2)
The Kaaba, a shrine containing the sacred Black Stone, stands in the center of the Great Mosque of Mecca. During most of the year the Kaaba is covered with an enormous cloth of black brocade.

According to Wikipedia, "In his teens, Muhammad accompanied his uncle on Syrian trading journeys to gain experience in commercial trade. Islamic tradition states that when Muhammad was either nine or twelve while accompanying the Meccans' caravan to Syria, he met a Christian monk or hermit named Bahira who is said to have foreseen Muhammad's career as a prophet of God."
Bahira, was part of the earliest cult groups in the days of the apostles, the Gnostics. Gnostic doctrine taught that all things physical is "evil", and anything Spirit was "good". Thus, they concluded that God, who is spirit, could not have become flesh, which they considered to be evil! This is a complete negation of the Gospel message, that God, loved man and became a man in order to save mankind!
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
This was a doctrine that John the Beloved contended with in his writings. In the Gospel of John chapter 1, John clearly declared that Jesus, the Word of God, was in fact God and creator.
John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
Later, contending with the Gnostics, John wrote...
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
St. John was declaring that the Gnostic teachers, such as Bahira, were "not of God", "false prophets" and "the spirit of the Antichrist".
So when Bahira put the idea into Muhammad's mind that he was to be a prophet, Muhammad tried to convince others he was a prophet, eventually by force. Those who chose to accept this idea freely, lived. Those who refused, had their heads taken off.
It is very possible, that Muhammad's knowledge of God and scripture was passed down to him from Bahira, with his own perversion of the truth. Muhammad rejected the Jewish name of God "YHWH (Jehovah)" and instead, named God by the name of the idol his parents worshipped ...."Baal, which Arabs called Ba-alah or simply Alah"!
Muhammad was a LUSTFUL man, an ADULTERER, a WIFE STEALER and a CHILD MOLESTER:
"Muslim scholar and statesman Ali Dashti gives a list of 22 women in Muhammad's life. 16 were wives, 2 were slaves or concubines, 4 were not wives nor slaves but devout Muslim women who “gave” themselves to satisfy Muhammad's sexual desires." (3)
"Muhammad married a seven-year-old (who moved in with him when she was ten), Ayisha. His seventh wife was his ex-daughter-in-law. Interestingly, Sura 4:3 limits the number of wives to four, and in Sura 4:31 marriage to one's daughter-in-law was prohibited. But in Sura 33:36-40, Muhammad was conveniently given a new revelation from God that ordered Zaid, Muhammad's adopted son, to divorce his wife so Muhammad could marry her by God's command." (1)
MUHAMMAD TAKES HIS STEP SONS WIFE!
(Sura 33:36-38)
[al-Ahzab 33:36] And it becometh not a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His messenger have decided an affair (for them), that they should (after that) claim any say in their affair; and whoso is rebellious to Allah and His messenger, he verily goeth astray in error manifest.
[al-Ahzab 33:37] And when thou saidst unto him on whom Allah hath conferred favour and thou hast conferred favour: Keep thy wife to thyself, and fear Allah. And thou didst hide in thy mind that which Allah was to bring to light, and thou didst fear mankind whereas Allah hath a better right that thou shouldst fear Him. So when Zeyd had performed that necessary formality (of divorce) from her, We gave her unto thee in marriage, so that (henceforth) there may be no sin for believers in respect of wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have performed the necessary formality (of release) from them. The commandment of Allah must be fulfilled.
[al-Ahzab 33:38] There is no reproach for the Prophet in that which Allah maketh his due. That was Allah's way with those who passed away of old - and the commandment of Allah is certain destiny -
According to the words of Jesus, Muhammad committed adultery:
(Mat 5:32 KJV) But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
Muhammad was a DECEIVER, THEIF AND MURDERER!!
"Muhammad tried to encourage the Jews to accept his prophethood by preaching monotheism, observing the Jewish Sabbath, praying toward Jerusalem, appealing to Abraham and the patriarchs, adopting some of their dietary laws, and praising the Scriptures.
But when it was obvious that the Jewish merchants were not going to become his disciples Muhammad dropped the observance of Jewish rites.
He changed the direction of prayer to Mecca, dropped Saturday Sabbath and adopted Friday Sabbath instead. He once again adopted the pagan religious rites in which he had been raised by his family.
He then began killing the Jews and looting Jewish settlements. After one Jewish town had surrendered, 700-1,000 men were beheaded in one day while all the women and children were sold into slavery and the possessions of the town looted! This fact is supported by Muslim scholars as well as by Western historians." (3)
Muhammad was DEMON POSSESSED!
Early Muslim tradition records the fact that when Muhammad was about to receive a revelation from Allah, he would often fall down on the ground, his body would jerk, his eyes would roll backward, and he would perspire profusely. (3)
The scriptures define such an experience with a boy who was demon possessed:
(Mark 9:18-20 KJV) And wheresoever he (the demon) taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him (the demon) out; and they could not. He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
"According to extra-Quranic sources, Muhammad's first mystical experience was allegedly being attacked by two men who cut his belly open in search of something. His foster mother thought he was demon-possessed after finding him standing and not having appeared to be the victim of any violence. He later claimed his nonexistent attackers to be angels who cleansed his heart. In a.d. 610, he claimed to have received his first of a series of Revelation of the Quran from God through the angel GABRIEL. His first disciple was his wife, then his cousin Ali, then his slave, and then his friend Abu Bakr. His following grew without many problems: first with slaves and the poor and oppressed, and then some wealthy clans, because, according to some, he used the so-called Satanic verses (a now-deleted version of Sura 53:19 that advocated the worship of the three daughters of Allah; al-Lat, al-'Uzza and Manat, later the angel GABRIEL chided Muhammad for claiming divine inspiration for this verse and told him he did this on his own while under Satan's power) in preaching to the unconverted." Muhammad claimed that the ANGEL GABRIEL FROM HEAVEN gave him this “OTHER GOSPEL.”
God knew that false prophets like Muhammad would arise to deceive many. He forewarned the saints that, anyone who preaches a different gospel, even if it came from an angel from heaven, is to be "accursed!" Jehovah God had prophesied through Paul, that one day, a man like Muhammad would claim that an angel from heaven gave him another gospel!
(Gal 1:8 KJV) But though we, or an ANGEL from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
(Mat 24:11 KJV) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
(Rev 20:10 KJV) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
QURAN
"Quran (also spelled Koran or Qur'an) is Arabic for “the recitation,” and refers to the collection of Revelation supposedly given by Allah through his archangel to Muhammad and preserved as the Islamic scripture. Muslims believe in the Law of Moses, the Psalms of David, and the Injil, or gospel of Jesus Christ. However, they believe that those Scriptures were superseded by the scripture given through Muhammad, and that the Bible used by Christians and Jews is a distorted version of those other scriptures. Wherever the Bible contradicts Islam, the Muslim says the Bible is incorrect." (1)
Since the Jews rejected Jesus Christ as the promised Messiah of their own scriptures, it is impossible to consider the idea that the Jews and Christians would act together in coercion to "distort" the scriptures! In fact, this grand separation between the Jews and Christians solidifies and strengthens the original authenticity of Old Testament scripture since the Jewish and Christian scriptures are in agreement even though they are so greatly opposed to each other as to the person of Jesus Christ and his fulfillment as the Messiah!
In addition, the recent findings of the "Dead Sea Scrolls" in 1947 containing many Jewish manuscripts dating back 100 years before Christ solidify the authenticity and accuracy of scripture as we have it today.
"The Old Testament has several extant versions that were around many years before Muhammad was even born, such as the Septuagint, the Syrian Peshitta, and the Targums. The New Testament has at least 9,000 manuscript copies existing before Muhammad, as well as over 36,000 quotations in the writings of the early church Fathers." (1)
Muhammad, in the era of 600 A.D. called the Holy Bible "the good book" and never considered it to have been distorted by the Christians and Jews as claimed by current day defenders of Islam. Having never read the Bible, Muhammed didn't know his "Quran" would be in such conflict with it! Furthermore, we have numerous original manuscripts that existed before Muhammad and are still available today for review by the Muslim sceptic!
"The Koran, especially in the earlier Suras, speaks often and highly of the Scriptures; calls them "the Book of God," "the Word of God," "the Tourât" (Thora, the Pentateuch), "the Gospel" (Ynyil), and describes the Jews and Christians as "the people of the Book," or "of the Scripture," or "of the Gospel.... The materials of the Koran, as far as they are not productions of the author's own imagination, were derived from the floating traditions of Arabia and Syria, from rabbinical Judaism, and a corrupt Christianity (Christian cults like todays Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons), and adjusted to his purposes." Muhammed's knowledge of the Holy Bible was limited and came from his encounters with Christians and Jews he met! Many of those who claimed to be Christians whom he encountered, were themselves teaching false Biblical doctrine such as the monk of Bostra who was of the Nestorian cult, whom Muhammed met on his first journey with camel drivers! While the Koran has many Biblical references, it was distorted by the invention of the mind of Muhammed and the false teachings of cult members who taught a distorted form of Christianity!
Muslim scholars, in order to give credibility to the Koran with its many errors that conflict with the Bible, in order to promote their false doctrine, and give credibility to their NEW book, make the excuse that the Bible has been tampered with and cannot be trusted! The truth is, the Koran has nothing to give but empty words. There is no message of salvation for mankind! There is no atonement for sin!

The same deceiving spirit who inspired Muhammed to write the Quran, has in modern days, inspired Joseph Smith, another False Prophet, to write the Book of Mormon. Joseph Smith, also an adulterer with lust for women and many wives, also claimed that an angel from heaven, named Moroni, gave him the NEW book.
Both the "Book of Mormon" and the "Quran," have many scriptural passages from the Holy Bible, but has twisted certain truths to create a new teaching and promote a "different gospel" than that which was preached by the apostles! Both of these books, written by a "sole" witness, lead the follower away from the ONLY way to be saved, which can only be found by bowing their knee to Jesus and confessing him to be Lord and God!

Islam originally meant: “defiance of death (for the sake of God and his prophet)” or “readiness for defiance of death.” The expression is thus semantically related to gihad [jihad], “warlike effort (for God and his prophet),” which implies also, secondarily, the sacrifice of property (viz. livestock) as a preparation for warlike action (see, e.g., Sura 9, v. 89). The religion of Muhammad, according to the usual definition, derived from the Quran, is based on two principles: gihad and iman (“faith”), or, by another definition, on Islam and iman (see, e.g., Sura 49, v. 14).D-5 (1)
Much of the spread of Islam was due to it's violent nature. They killed anyone who would not submit to “Allah” and confess “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the prophet (or messenger) of Allah” which is the great Shahada, or “confession,” which faithful Muslims around the world declare daily. An interesting point of fact, is that, many Muslims today, are the descendants of those who were forcibly threatened to be killed if they did not convert to Islam. While these descendents believe that their forefathers turned to Islam willfully, they don't realize that they have simply become a future generation of those who were held in bondage to a religion that gives no hope at all! There is NO salvation message for those who are held captive to Islam!
"Allah" has never been the God of the Jews or the Christians, but rather a pagan idol that is not to be worshipped, nor submitted to. To make this confession (the Shahada) is to deny Jesus Christ the Lord, who is the God of Israel that spoke to Moses in the burning bush! Thus, historically, many Chrisitans as well as Jews were put to death for keeping the true faith and resisting the idolatry of Islam!
"Egypt was won by the Muslims, and Persia fell under Muslim control by 650 AD. Muslim expansion on the western wing of the crescent was halted in 732. But the (Christian) church had already undergone great losses as the conquered people were faced with the choice of the sword, tribute, or Islam." (4)
Historical time line of the many battles of the followers of Muhammad as they conquered city after city, killing all who refused to bow their knee to their idol. Islam would have taken complete control of Europe had it not been for the intervention of the Crusaders.
"According to Scripture, the ancestors of modern Arabs can be traced back to Shem and are properly known as Semites. Shem's descendant Eber gave rise to two lines: Peleg's line, from which Abraham is descended, and Joktan's line, which contains the names of many Arab groups. However, many Arab tribes trace their ancestry to Ishmael, the firstborn son of Abraham.
Their religion was polytheistic and was related to the paganism of the ancient Semites. The beings it adored were in origin the inhabitants and patrons of single places, living in trees, fountains, and especially in sacred stones. There were some gods in the true sense, transcending in their authority the boundaries of purely tribal cults. The three most important were Manat, `Uzza, and Allat. These three were themselves subordinate to a higher deity, usually called Allah.
The tribal faith centered around the tribal god, symbolized usually by a stone, sometimes by some other object. Apostasy was the equivalent of treason.
The Koran mentions these pagan deities in Sura 53:19-20: “Have ye seen Lat, and `Uzza, and another, the third (goddess), Manat?” This is followed by an assertion (vss. 21-23) that these goddesses, the daughters of ALLAH the MOON GOD according to pre-Islamic Arab theology, are mere human creations that divide God into parts. These deities were popular at Mecca at the time of Muhammad's birth. Lat, or al-Lat (“the goddess”), was the sun god; (Uzza, or al-'Uzza (“the mighty one”), the planet Venus; and Manat, the god of good fortune. Other gods mentioned in the Quran include Wadd (another Moon god, mentioned above), Suw`a, Yaghuth, and Nasr (Sura 71:23). Of these gods, al-`Uzza appears to be the supreme deity in Mecca.
It is believed by some scholars that Allah, or al-Ilah (“the god”), can be traced to Ilah, the South Arabian MOON GOD. Henotheism, or the worship of only one god while not denying the existence of other gods, may have existed in pre-Islamic society." (1)
"The symbol of the worship of the moon god in Arabian culture and elsewhere throughout the Middle East was the crescent moon.
Archaeologists have dug up numerous statues and hieroglyphic inscriptions in which a crescent moon was seated on top of the head of the deity to symbolize the worship of the moon god." (3)
THE HEBREW SCRIPTURES AND "ALLAH"
The word “Allah” never appears in the Hebrew nor Greek scriptures as a name of God.
Yet it DOES appear in the Hebrew scriptures. In the Strongs Concordance Dictionary of Hebrew words, (a dictionary of every word in the Bible) “Allah” is defined as follows:
Strongs #421 `alah “to lament, wail”
Strongs #422 `alah “to swear, curse”
Strongs #423 `alah “to curse, make an oath, swear”,
Strongs #427 `allah “oak, terebinth”
To lament, wail, swear, curse, make oaths, and oak trees are NOT names of God!
Some examples of the word `alah as a curse:
Numbers 5:21 Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The Lord make thee a curse (`alah) and an oath among thy people, when the Lord doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;
Numbers 5:27 And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse (`alah) among her people.
Sadly, after the recent Revelation on television of the horrible treatment of the women in the Middle East, it is no secret that the women of the fundamental Islam faith are cursed!
Job 31:30 Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by wishing a curse (`alah) to his soul.
The following is an example of `allah in the scriptures as an oak tree:
(Josh 24:26 KJV) And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, (`allah) that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.
(Ezek 6:13 KJV) Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
A message to the Muslims: Is YOUR ALLAH a curse, lamentation, or oak tree? Abraham spoke the Hebrew language and would have been very much aware that the word "Allah" was not the name of God!
Gen 12:7-8 And the LORD (Jehovah) appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there built he an altar unto the LORD (Jehovah), who appeared unto him. And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he built an altar unto the LORD (Jehovah), and called upon the name of the LORD (Jehovah).
The ONLY name by which Abraham knew God, was the name "Jehovah!"

The name of "Jesus" comes from the Hebrew name "yehoshua" - Joshua or Jehoshua = "Jehovah is salvation"
Unfortunately, since the time of Muhammad, Islam has caused many to Lament through its murder of many innocent people who would not submit to the idol of Islam. Even today, many deceived souls, almost daily, strap bombs to themselves thinking that they will receive a grand entrance into the Kingdom of God by murdering many innocent people in shopping plazas or even at a wedding feast! Be warned:
1Jo 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
In conflict with the Holy Word of God which Muhammad called "the good book", Islam teaches that:
Jesus is not the Son of God.
He did not die for our sins.
He was not divine as well as human.
He is not the Savior.
(Sura 4:157; 5:19,75; 9:30)
Muslims mistakenly thought the Christian Trinity was 3 gods: the Father, the Mother (Mary), and the Son (Jesus) Sura 5:73-75,116.
They teach that Muhammad is the “Helper” (Greek - paracletos - meaning comforter or helper) of John 14:16 although the "Helper" is clearly identified as the Holy Spirit (not Muhammad) in John 14:26.
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter (helper), that he may abide with you for ever;
John 14:26 But the Comforter (helper), which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The doctrine of Islam says that Jesus Christ was ONLY a Prophet. They deny that Jesus was the Son of God. Yet the Holy scriptures reveals that Muhammad had the boldness to call God a Liar, "because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son."
(1 John 5:9-12 KJV) If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Those who reject Jesus Christ as the Son of God "hath not life!"
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
GOD HIMSELF SAYS THAT JESUS IS HIS SON
(Mat 3:17 KJV) And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
(Heb 1:1-2 KJV) God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
JESUS CLAIMED TO BE THE SON OF GOD
(John 9:35-37 KJV) Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
And again in:
(John 10:36 KJV) Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
THE CHURCH WAS BUILT ON PETER'S CONFESSION THAT JESUS IS “THE SON OF GOD”
(Mat 16:14-18 KJV) And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
GOD'S WRATH IS ON THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE THE SON
(John 3:36 KJV) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE ETERNAL LIFE IS TO CONFESS JESUS AS GOD'S SON
(1 John 5:13 KJV) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
(John 20:31 KJV) But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
NO OTHER NAME CAN SAVE YOU!
(Acts 4:10-12 KJV) Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their belief systems I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.
After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"
There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers!"
I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?"
The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, "Yes."
I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"
The Imam was speechless.
I continued, "I also have problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question.
Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants you to be with me?" You could have heard a pin drop as
the Imam hung his head in shame.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
Father God in heaven, please forgive me for my sins! I repent! I repent of worshipping the idol called Allah and following a false prophet! Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I confess you as the Son of God, and I ask you to come into my heart, and wash me with your blood. Give me your Holy Spirit and cleanse me of all idols. Give me the power to turn from sins and to follow after you. I trust the Holy Bible alone to be my Bread of Life! I love you Jesus! Thank you for saving me from hell. Amen!
