The weary traveler, considering the long rout back to get to another bridge, decides that he will not go the other rout then yells at the man who warned him “Hater! Your intolerant and self-righteous! You think your way is the only way!” and as the man tries to convince the traveler of the impending doom, the traveler has him arrested and continues down the road. Since none of the other travelers have been down the road and returned to find out if this man is telling the truth, they all say and do the same, refusing to accept the warning! After all, none of us have died and returned to tell the others “Hey! Listen to what this man is saying! He is telling the truth!”</div> <bR> <div> The only one to do so, is the one who came down out of heaven, died on a cross and rose again! Even though he has given us his word, many still refuse to believe it, and as they pass on into eternity, ….well….., you will have to decide! Is His word true, or a lie! We WILL all, one day, find out!</div> <bR> <div> Whether a person is a drug addict, a drunkard, a fornicator, an adulterer or a homosexual, they are bruised, battered and tired, having been through a myriad of situations that has wounded their soul. We all have our horror stories of what has brought us to this place in life, and how sin took us captive. The LAST thing this tired and weary traveler wants, is to be "detoured" after such a long journey! The easy way, is to just "press on" with blinders over our eyes, and drive into eternal death! But the truth is this, EVERY Christian, has had to make the effort to "detour" and come off of the wide road that leads to destruction, and get on the straight and narrow road that leads to eternal life and peace! The longer you continue on the road that leads to destruction, the more tired you will become! You will NEVER find peace and rest on that wide road! Even death will not bring rest to the weary soul (Rev. 14:11)</div> <bR> <bR> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>Is it SIN?</U></B></div> <bR> <div> What does the Bible have to say about Homosexuality? I shall cover the answer to this question in this study! This study is not to condemn the homosexual, but rather to help the homosexual to understand the reason WHY they have the sexual desire for those of their own sex, and the cure for their freedom from this sin.</div> <bR> <div> If you are trapped in this lifestyle, you cannot get deliverance until you can first acknowledge that it is sin, and that the scriptures clearly declare that you cannot enter the Kingdom of God if you continue to live in this sin!</div> <bR> <div> <FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><I>9</I></FONT><I>?Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor </I><I><B><U>homosexuals</U></B></I><I>, nor </I><I><B><U>sodomites</U></B></I><I>, </I><FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><I>10</I></FONT><I>?nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. </I><FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><I>11</I></FONT><I>?And such were some of you. If you will note the list of sins above in 1 Cor. 6:9-10, I don't believe that any of you would declare that anyone is born “a thief”, or “reviler”, or “an adulterer”! These sins had a point of origin; a first time the sin is committed! Some claim that drunkards are born with the “seed” to be drunkards, (to be awakened when they drink their first drink). But until the person drinks their first alcoholic beverage, they will never become drunks. There is not a single cocaine addict that will confess that they desired to be a drug addict before they got their first “high!” That is why drug dealers give the first “hit” free! They know that if you try it, you will be hooked and come back for more! Those who refuse to ever take their first "hit", never become addicts! Likewise, the homosexual has had an “introductory” initiation into their addiction of lust, somewhere in their past!</div> <bR> <div> John 8:34     <I>Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.</I> </div> <bR> <div> Don't think for a moment, that many who are heterosexuals today, have not, at some point in their life, questioned their sex, being tempted by the tempter, whom Jesus calls Satan, to experiment with others of the same sex. The ONLY difference between the heterosexual and the homosexual, is that one gave in to the temptation, and became a slave to this sin!</div> <bR> <div> The attempt to bring this idea to the children in today's schools, will no doubt be profitable to the homosexual group as children, who would have normally grown up to be heterosexual, will be tempted to "experiment" and once they commit this sin, they too will be trapped as slaves to this sin, believing that, since they are trapped by it, that they were created, or born, "Homosexual!" Let's read about the deception of sin, knowing that God's law has forbidden the acts of homosexuality (Lev. 18:22)</div> <bR> <div> Rom 7:8-11  (BBE) <I>But sin, taking its chance through that which was ordered by the law, </I><I><B><U>was working in me every form of desire</U></B></I><I>: because without the law sin is dead. And there was a time when I was living without the law: but when the law gave its orders, sin came to life and put me to death; And I made the discovery that the law whose purpose was to give life had become a cause of death: For </I><I><B><U>I was tricked and put to death by sin</U></B></I><I>, which took its chance through the law. </I></div> <bR> <div> Very simply put, the tempter, knowing that the law forbids this act, has taken the occasion of tricking you with thoughts that you were born to be homosexual, or that you should have been a woman, instead if being a man. As though God made a mistake when he gave you man's body parts instead of a woman's. Working on our "sin nature" which we inherited from our sinful parents Adam and Eve, Satan tricks us to believe a lie. Those who buy into this lie, test it, and find it pleasurable, and now become captive to the sin! Now that they are captive to the sin, they confirm in their mind, that they were born to be this way! Now they curse God for "making" them this way and calling it "sin!" Those who bypass this temptation, although they go on through life as heterosexual, ultimately fall captive to some other sin when they are finally snared by Satan through drugs, adultery, pornography, alcohol etc.</div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>It feels good!</U></B></div> <bR> <div> Sex feels good! God made it that way! If it didn't, we would not have babies and mankind would perish! If your first experience was with your spouse through marriage, chances are very good that your desire would always be for your spouse alone, as long as you continued to resist temptation suggesting that you should "try" someone else! Temptation is always easier to resist, if you have never tasted the drink from the other cup! While the other cup might be curious and tempting, since I don't know what it tastes like, I can either take it or leave it. But when you know what the other cup tastes like, and now you crave after it since you know what you are missing and its taste is heavy on your taste buds, you will do just about anything to get some more of it!</div> <bR> <div> Sex is like a "high" that one gets when they are on drugs! If the first pleasurable experience that a young man has, is with another man, no doubt, they now become “addicted” to this new experience and pursue it for more! Once LUST is conceived in the person, it burns for more! Obviously, the same holds true for the fornicator and adulterer! A young man who experiences his first sexual “high” with a high school date, will continue to desire this new found high! Since this young woman is not his bride, he too is out of God's will, and is caught in the tailspin of lust and sin, and trying to seduce other young women to satisfy his lust is now his daily mission! The addiction takes on a new depth of perversion with some, who get their “high” with children, (who may be fulfilling the same crime that was committed upon them as a child) or while performing some kind of torture or death to their victim of sex. Every day, the evening news is revealing the horror of this type of lustful fulfillment by those whom have become trapped by it! Sin, escalates into a snowball of ever increasing lust to satisfy the pleasurable senses of the sinner!</div> <bR> <div> 2 Tim. 3:1-4  <I>This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, </I><I><B><U>lovers of pleasures</U></B></I><I> more than lovers of God;</I></div> <bR> <div> The Greek word for “pleasures” is <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="TITUS Cyberbit Basic" >philedonos</FONT> which is defined as </div> <div> <B>Voluptuous</B>  adv. Luxuriously; with free indulgence of sensual pleasures; </div> <bR> <div> Biblically, the purpose for sex, was to procreate and have children under the covenant of marriage! As prophetically foretold by Paul, the perilous times we are now living in, people are ever seeking the fulfillment of their sensual pleasures that can never be satisfied!</div> <bR> <div> The homosexual who wants to be free from this sin, and to do what is pleasing in the sight of God, must acknowledge, as does the adulterer, the drunkard, the thief, and the fornicator, that they are sinners, trapped in their sin, and that they need deliverance! Their deliverer must be called on by name, and that name is Jesus!    </div> <bR> <div> John 8:36     <I><B><U>If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.</U></B></I><B><U> </U></B></div> <bR> <div> Joh 3:16-21 (GW) <I>God loved the world this way: He gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.  God sent his Son into the world, not to condemn the world, </I><I><B><U>but to save the world</U></B></I><I>.  Those who believe in him won't be condemned. But those who don't believe are already condemned because they don't believe in God's only Son.  This is why people are condemned: The light came into the world. Yet, people loved the dark rather than the light </I><I><B><U>because their actions were evil</U></B></I><I>.  </I><I><B><U>People who do what is wrong hate the light</U></B></I><I> and don't come to the light. They don't want their actions to be exposed.  But </I><I><B><U>people who do what is true come to the light</U></B></I><I> so that the things they do for God may be clearly seen. </I></div> <bR> <div> The militant anger of the homosexual, I trust, comes from their anger at God “If God made me this way, then why does He condemn me?” is their reasoning! Their pent up anger, is not based on the truth, but the lie that they bought into, that Homosexuals are born this way, and that there is no hope for deliverance! Most, cannot even imagine a life that is free from this sin! </div> <bR> <div> Romans 7:24-25     <I>O wretched man that I am! </I><I><B><U>who shall deliver me from the body of this death</U></B></I><I>? [25] I thank God through </I><I><B><U>Jesus Christ our Lord</U></B></I><I>. ..</I></div> <bR> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>How did I get into this mess!</U></B></div> <bR> <div> Every Homosexual, if they wish to be fair and honest, will have to confess that they had a point of entry into that lifestyle, although some may have completely forgotten what it was (if it was from an introduction at a very early age which is now forgotten). Many don't forget, though, and know exactly how it originated. Their mother or father, uncle or neighbor, friend or maybe even their brother!</div> <bR> <div> Some points of introduction into this lifestyle are:</div> <bR> <div>  1.   Being raped or fondled by someone of the same sex when they were young. (Although the child may hate their attacker for the rest of their life, they themselves become slaves to this sin and may even do the same to others, like passing on a contagious disease)</div> <bR> <div> 2.    Some kind of abuse that caused them to hate persons of the other sex! (More common with women)</div> <bR> <div> 3.    Experimenting, at a young age, with their friends, and experiencing this sexual “high” which becomes addictive!</div> <bR> <div> 4.    Looking upon the nakedness of others of the same sex and fantasizing. </div> <bR> <div> In Leviticus 18, God tried to protect the Israelites from this sin by forbidding them from looking upon the nakedness of others. In our current, sinful society, with sexually explicit photography and TV, it is almost impossible to keep children free from seeing these things which introduces them to this addictive drug called “LUST” and taking them captive!  </div> <bR> <div> Although we are all “born” with the “sin nature” that is, the desire to sin, which we inherited from our fathers, the fact remains that, we are all FREE from sin at birth. No baby, right from the womb, is lusting after the other child lying next to him! Yet we have the sin nature within us, when tempted, we often give in and become slaves to the sin! Once we sin, the sin now lives within us!</div> <bR> <div> Rom 7:14-17 (GW) <I>I know that God's standards are spiritual, but I have a corrupt nature, </I><I><B><U>sold as a slave to sin</U></B></I><I>. I don't realize what I'm doing. I don't do what I want to do. Instead, I do what I hate. I don't do what I want to do, but I agree that God's standards are good. So I am no longer the one who is doing the things I hate, </I><I><B><U>but sin that lives in me is doing them</U></B></I><I>.</I></div> <bR> <div> James 1:14-15     <I>But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. [15] Then when </I><I><B><U>lust hath conceived</U></B></I><I>, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.</I> </div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>Don't tell me I have a demon!</U></B></div> <bR> <div> How is it possible that "<I>sin lives in me...</I>" as described in Romans 7:17. In Mark 16:9, the scriptures tell us that Jesus "cast out" 7 devils from Mary Magdelene the former prostitute. You may not want to admit this, but if you are trapped in this lifestyle, the chances are very good, that you have a Spirit of Lust, or the spirit of homosexuality, "<I>living</I>" in you! <U>YOU are not a Homosexual</U>! The lying and deceiving Spirit that is LIVING IN you is! He speaks to your mind, telling you how you can get "more" satisfaction for the flesh! You are led by the unclean spirit into deeper sin! Should that devil be cast out of you, YOU are NO longer his captive! YOU ARE FREE!</div> <bR> <div> Mark 16:17     <I>And these signs shall follow them that believe; </I><I><U>In my name shall they cast out devils</U></I><I>; ...</I></div> <bR> <div> You might scream out "I'm not demon possessed!" But then, how do YOU know? What you might claim is normal, is often the work of an unclean spirit. When one becomes "angry," they can feel something "rise up" within them and they "snap!" Ever heard someone say "I don't know what overcame me to do this!" Your face becomes red and flush, you feel it tingling and rise up in your throat, it overwhelms your whole body and suddenly you are "out of control!" Your next move is as though you are under the influence of a drug! The addicting drug of Lust! When you act like a woman, and yet you are a man, you know that something is wrong. You just cannot put your finger on it! Your mind is filled with confusion as you don't understand what is happening to you. Again, the thought comes to you that you are a woman who mistakenly ended up in the body of a man. Yes, that unclean spirit is playing a game with you and your buying it!</div> <bR> <div> Since the scripture declares that the spirit of a person is neutral, neither male nor female, since we will no longer be procreating (Matt. 22:30) then you are being made a fool when you think that you are a woman in the body of a man (or vica-versa for a woman who thinks she is a man in the body of a woman)! The unclean spirit residing within you, has deceived you and created great havoc with your life!</div> <bR> <div> The Holy Spirit, the gift that God gives to those whom are "born again" doesn't "rise up" and take over your flesh like the unclean spirit! The fruit of the Holy Spirit is listed as: </div> <bR> <div> Galatians 5:22-23 <I>    But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patient), gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness (humility), temperance (self-control) </I></div> <bR> <div> That spirit of Lust that you experience, rising up in your flesh when you begin to meditate on fantasies, is NOT the Holy Spirit! While you think you were born with it, you are wrong! It is a Spirit that has taken residence in your flesh at a very young age, but you have never known life, or remember life, being free of it. Once that unclean spirit has taken residence and rooted itself within your flesh, it is impossible, without the help of God, to get rid of it! God has sent a CURE to get rid of it, the blood of Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit to uproot and remove the unclean spirit from your flesh!</div> <bR> <div> Those who try to get rid of the unclean spirit without completely surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ, often find that they become MORE captive to the sin than they were before. Like those who try to stop drinking through Alcoholics Anonymous instead of being "born again" by turning to Jesus and become a New Creation (2 Cor. 5:17). When they return to the bottle, they are 7 times worse than before!</div> <bR> <div> Matthew 12:43-45      <I>When the </I><I><B><U>unclean spirit</U></B></I><I> is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. [44] Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. [45] Then goeth he, and taketh with himself </I><I><B><U>seven other spirits</U></B></I><I> more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. </I></div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>Being washed!</U></B></div> <bR> <div> Once we have fallen victim to sin, we are trapped! Those who refuse to give in to temptation, remain free from the sin! Those who never light their first cigarette are free from this curse. Those, whom have lit their first cigarette, wish they never had!</div> <bR> <div> I wish for you to take note of verse 11 below:</div> <bR> <div> <FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><I>9</I></FONT><I>?Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, </I><FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><I>10</I></FONT><I>?nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. </I><FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><I>11</I></FONT><I>?</I><I><B><U>And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God</U></B></I><I>.</I>   1 Cor. 6:9-11 NKJV</div> <bR> <div> The Homosexual, who dies in their sin, has as much chance of getting into the Kingdom of God as the man who dies of a heart attack while having sex with his neighbors wife, or the bank robber who is shot and killed during his escape, or the drunkard who dies in a car wreck. As a captive to their sin, the chance is ZERO! </div> <bR> <div> Joh 8:34-35 (GNB)  <I>Jesus said to them, "I am telling you the truth: everyone who </I><I><B><U>sins is a slave of sin</U></B></I><I>.  </I><I><B><U>A slave does not belong to a family permanently</U></B></I><I>, but a son belongs there forever. </I></div> <bR> <div> As a slave to sin, you cannot be part of God's family! But there is hope! When you are "born again," you are born into the family of God and become a child of God! The scripture declares that the homosexual, as well as the list of other sinners noted, who are NO LONGER living in these sins having been washed, sanctified and justified by the name of Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of God, are now qualified to inherit His Kingdom! Those who turn to Christ to deliver them become a NEW creation! </div> <bR> <div> Galatians 1:4     <I>Who gave himself for our sins, that he might </I><I><B><U>deliver us</U></B></I><I> from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: </I></div> <bR> <div> 2 Cor. 5:17     <I>Therefore if any man be in Christ, </I><I><B><U>he is a new creature</U></B></I><I>: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.</I> </div> <bR> <div> Just as fornicators, adulterers, thieves, extortioners, idolaters, drunkards, and covetous are subject to God's wrath, but are able to find forgiveness through repentance, so too, the homosexual will find the same grace of God for those who will turn away from this addiction to lust, and be made free by Christ Jesus!</div> <bR> <div> The homosexual that is captive to this sin, who refuses to surrender to God's will, having loved their sin more than they love God, often become an enemy of God and an enemy of the Christian people. Yet the Christian people wish, not to condemn them, but to reveal the truth, that they have a deliverer, and that deliverer is Jesus! Shaking their fist at God they shout “YOU made me this way, how dare you condemn me for being this way!” Not realizing that ALL of us were BORN with the sin nature, and ALL of us have become captive to some form of sin that condemns us to hell, and that ALL of us are hell bound and that is why ALL of us MUST be “born again” by repenting of our sins and calling on the name of Jesus Christ! EVERY Christian has had to be delivered from some sin that has taken them captive! </div> <bR> <div> Romans 3:23     <I>For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;</I> </div> <div> John 3:3     …<I>Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.</I> </div> <bR> <div> Every Christian whom has been delivered from their captivity to sin, has had to continue to fight the temptation to return to that sin! Even as a drug addict must endure great struggles to be free and remain free from their addiction, or the drunkard who must fight to break the drinking habit with possibly a lifetime battle of staying sober as well as the adulterer who must fight the desire to sleep with his neighbors wife, even so, the Homosexual must struggle to put to death their addiction to the lust of the flesh with those of the same sex, and to restrict the pleasures of sex only under the confines of marriage between a man and woman! Although you might think this is impossible, the testimonies of those whom have made this life changing transition prove otherwise! My experience in talking with women who live in the homosexual lifestyle shows that many of them have been hurt by men, and have turned to a sexual relationship with women instead. For many homosexuals, to love someone means to have sex with them. Does this mean that I should have sex with each of them? Obviously not! I care for your soul and if you remain on your current course, you will perish! Ask the Lord to forgive you of your sins, and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and be the Lord of your life. Ask Him for the gift of the Holy Spirit to give you power over your sin!
