Wasn't its founder Taze Russell a 33rd Degree Freemason? I believe Joseph Smith(Mormonism) was too.

Yeah, these "cults" have alot of deep connections to secret societies et al. Jesus warned about Mystery Babylon for good reason in Revelation.

Thanks for a well thought-out reply to many of the arguements proposed by JW's. I studied with them in the 1970's and could see that not all of what they were teaching was in line with the Bible. It wasn't until recently that I came across both pages of artwork by Justus Lipsius. Before that I had just thought that they had found one out of many pieces of artwork that depicted a the stake as opposed to a cross. it's amazing to think that they deceive their followers by not showing all the evidence.

 but you left out other parts of that scripture that further explains the context, which is verse-19. if your so holier than thou..WHY would you leave out the rest of that scripture. I know why..
